Let's meet in Frankfurt!

We are pleased to announce that Reference Laboratory will be attending at Prolight+Sound 2013 (10 to 13 April, Frankfurt am Main), the leading international fair of technologies and services for events and entertainment, and will meet you at Hall 8.0 booth E50 with the top selection of its own manufactured cables for Audio / Video / Lighting professional jobs, as well as its wide, 'application-oriented' cable series dedicated to musicians. You'll have the opportunity to see the first preview of our microphone and instrument cables with their new look (new graphic appearance but same great sonic experience) and try out their unsurpassed quality at our live testing corner. 

Here, the Reference team leaded by Angelo Tordini (Founder & CEO, Reference Laboratory) and supported by professional musicians, will be ready and willing to present you our news for 2013 and will also be an opportunity to highlight some innovations of our distributions. As per tradition, then, at "snacks time", there will be a taste of Italy for all of you.

We will be featuring performances with special guests as the Jazzlife Duo, formed by Luca Di Luzio & Kamila Staszkňw (guitar and vocals), who will respectively demonstrate our instrument cable UJAZZ (designed for hollowbody guitars) and RMC01 (microphone cable specific for live vocal performances), and the talented acoustic guitarist Lorenzo Favero, who will show the superior sonic performance for electroacoustic guitar application given by the instrument cable RIC01-A, and Steve Saluto, who will demonstrate the instrument cables for electric guitars RIC01 and RIC-S01R.

Luca Di Luzio, is a renewed italian jazz guitar player and composer. He completed a degree in Jazz Guitar at the Frescobaldi Music Conservatory in Ferrara, Italy, and and he's currently playing in numerous jazz formations including the Sidma Jazz Orchestra of Chieti. He has taken part in several jazz festivals and concerts with the Jazzlife 5ett and the Barioca 4ett, which he recorded a LP with. He performed and collaborated with Garrison Fewell, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Marco Tamburini, Roberto Spadoni, Tom Sheret, Flavio Piscopo, Teo Ciavarella, Chica Piazzolla, Stefano Peretto, James Newton. For some years Luca has been Bob Stoloff's assistant and supporting guitarist in his Vocal improvisation seminars. He also part as coordinator of progect. Luca is endorser for Reference cables, Dv Mark amps, Benedetto Guitars, Altamira guitars, Stefyline bags and Timber Tones picks.

Kamila Staszkòw, born in 1981, is a talented singer of Polish origin. In January 2011 she performed with Julius Pastorius (son of the great bass player Jaco Pastorius) and. in December 2011, released her first EP album, "Nuda", produced by the label PMS Studio. Currently Kamila, besides performing live with several formations as Kamila's Good Vibes Trio, Staszkňw-Nobili Duo and Jazzlife Duo, is working in studio for a new album.

The 24yo Lorenzo Favero is one of the most exciting promises of the acoustic fingerstyle guitar. He collaborated and played with several great artists such as Frank Vignola, François Sciortino, John Doan, Nico Di Battista, Bermuda Acoustic Trio, Franco Fasano, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark Harris, Michele Ascolese, Ivan Ciccarelli, Andrea Scagliarini. Having lived a breathed with Tommy Emmanuel, landmark musician for any fingerstyle guitarist, the young turinese guitar player gave demonstration of an exemplary technique. It's confirmed beyond a doubt by it last album, Skylines: a collection of eleven instrumental tracks (embellished by three famous covers), that seems to have very little to envy to the great masters of this particular genre. The guitar of Steve Saluto is able to show all the artist’s taste and heart having in the impact and in the freshness of the sound its winning card“ in this way . Residing in Treviso (Italy), Steve began playing guitar at the age of fifteen. At the beginning they were jazz guitar lessons then, inspired by the Van Halen solo in "Beat It", Steve took up playing rock. From Jazz to Funk to Rock and Pop, Steve has played and or recorded with a diverse many such as Danny Losito, The Venice Gospel Ensemble, Buddy Miles, Phil Palmer, and many more. He has written and produced 10 solo and band recordings featuring his diverse guitar virtuosity. "Melodic Rock" described him as "the amazing new Italian guitar hero and a recording studio genius" ... besides his guitar player and band leader status, Steve is an in demand writer and producer for up and coming young bands and he also own a recording commercial studio in San Biagio di Callalta (TV).
