Lorenzo Favero e Reference Cables: fellow travellers!

[ Indietro ]

We could not agree more with Lorenzo Favero, one of the most promising italian acoustic guitar players and new friend of Reference Laboratory: Reference cables actually are the best "travelling companions" for a musician in the journey to reach his own top quality sound.
We had the pleasure to meet Lorenzo at XV Acoustic Guitar Meeting, and we got in tune immediately, as if we were old pals... and very shortly after that he wrote us a owesome quote!

Here below everything about Lorenzo Favero (his Bio, his Quote on Reference Laboratory cables, some Videos and his websites)

Winner of Carish "New sounds of acoustic music 2011" contest, Lorenzo Favero, aged 23,  is considered one of the best promises of italian acoustic guitar.
He began studying guitar aged 14, and during the following years he won many national competitions and television contests. He also participated in many acoustic guitar festivals both as an artist and as demonstrator, played as opening act in the shows of great guitar players such as Frank Vignola, Massimo Varini and Bermuda Acoustic trio.
He took part in Nico Di Battista’s project “ Nuovi segnali sonori”, recording  two of his original tunes.
During these years he collaborated and played with several great artists such as Frank Vignola, François Sciortino, John Doan, Nico Di Battista, Bermuda Acoustic Trio, Franco Fasano, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark Harris, Michele Ascolese, Ivan Ciccarelli, Andrea Scagliarini.
He also participated in seminars of internationally renowned fingerstyle guitarists such as Pierre Bensusan and Franco Morone.
Constantly active in the composition of original music, arrangements and in live shows, Lorenzo has performed, over the years.

This is Lorenzo Favero's quote on Reference Cables:

My experience with Reference Cables

"I always heard good opinions and I read enthusiastic reviews about Reference cables, so one day I decided to make by myself a direct experiment, and I compared a Reference cable with another one, maintaining exactly the same levels and equalization of both my acoustic guitar and my amp. The difference was instantly clear and noticeable: with the Reference cable my sound was clear, faithful, intense and anthentic, it was exactly the one I always tried to obtain with an amplified acoustic guitar.
I think that in the journey of every musician a great part of the growth, together with the development of technique and the creativeness, is the research of the quality of your own sound: with Reference cables I found my traveling companions in this journey."
